Project of internationalization of glass products of Miś Glass Company & Art-Miś Gallery through expansion to modern and prestigious Dutch, Russian and German markets

Project description:

Miś Glass Works & Art. Miś Gallery, planning expansion into foreign markets, commissioned an external company to verify selected markets for the sale of glass products (glass balustrades and glass doors and partitions). From among five potential locations, the consulting company has finally recommended expansion to the markets of Germany, Russia and Holland. The selection was preceded by a thorough analysis based on information available in official internet sources and information gathered by an external consulting company, as detailed in the Business Model.

The duration of the project is defined as: 02.11.2020 – 31.10.2022.

The main product to be internationalized will be the Applicant’s glass products, i.e. glass balustrades and glass doors and partitions, manufactured by the Applicant and used for interior design and finishing of balconies, terraces, etc. In order to consciously and prudently enter selected foreign markets.

The applicant will take the following steps:

  1. Purchase of a consulting service, taking into account the conditions of the analysis of markets, formal and legal environment or business principles, which will be aimed at determining the conditions of building brand recognition and effective expansion process in selected markets.
  2. Purchase of consulting service, including preparation of the Applicant for expansion in terms of business analysis and implementation
  3. Participation as an exhibitor in the Bouwbeurs 2021 fair (the Netherlands)
  4. Participation as an exhibitor in the Glasstec 2022 fair (Germany)
  5. Purchase of a fixed asset in the form of a glass processing machine
  6. Purchase of marketing consulting service, including design and implementation of marketing and promotional activities

Project objectives:

The goal of the project is to internationalize operations in new foreign markets in the form of the Netherlands, Russia and Germany.

Planned effects:

  1. successfully expand into the Dutch, Russian and German markets
  2. reach a level of revenue from export sales
  3. develop the business, thanks to the experience gained through international business cooperation;
  4. gain an increase in revenue, which in turn will allow for new investments, e.g.
  5. increase in income, which in turn will allow for new investments, such as further development of equipment facilities;
  6. establish new international contacts, which will allow for further foreign expansion into new markets.

Project value: 1,065,180.00 PLN


Expansion of the company Jarosław Matz Zakład Szklarski Miś & Galeria Art-Miś into new foreign markets promoting the product in the form of glass products – balustrades, doors and partitions.

Purpose and planned effect of the project:

The company expects that as a result of the implementation of internationalization:

  1. will make a successful expansion into the Spanish and French markets,
  2. achieve an export sales revenue level of PLN 720,000 by the end of 2025
  3. will develop its business, thanks to the experience gained through international business cooperation;
  4. will gain an increase in revenue, which in turn will allow for new investments, such as further development of equipment facilities,
  5. will establish new international contacts, which will allow further foreign expansion into new markets.

Measurable effects of project implementation:

  • Number of internationalization business models prepared for implementation – 1;
  • Number of new markets (countries) where the applicant has achieved readiness to start selling products – 2;
  • Number of organized distribution channels to be implemented in target markets – 4.

Value of the project: The total value of the project is – 398,970.00 PLN (in words: three hundred and ninety-eight thousand nine hundred and seventy PLN 00/100)

Contribution of European Funds: Project funding constituting de minimis aid – PLN 241,100.00 (in words: two hundred forty one thousand one hundred zlotys 00/100)

End of implementation: 27.11.2021 – 31.01.2023
